Just chiming in

@andrea
1. We have put out an open community call for the NCSG EC slot and waiting to hear back on applications for that so we can finalise who get it

2. The NA Crop announcement will be done with a March deadline.

@everyone else for the 2 EC slots, it’s unfortunate that Olga can’t attend it. If Ken, Claudio and I are all eligible for Olga’s unused EC slot, I would like to express my interest for the same.

My key motivation being:
- I have a valid visa to travel to DC but not to Hamburg.
- I have never attended a policy meeting before and would like to learn more about it

Let me know if you’ll are willing to consider.

And thanks for the comments on the guidelines, we will make sure to have a transparent process that we can communicate it to the community for the slots.

And I think having a stipulated selection process and some guidelines will not affect the bylaws as the guidelines align with the original bylaws… infact they are just there to help us align with policy in unforeseen situations.
