Dear NCUC Chair,

Please, accept my interest to serve for the second term as the NCUC
representative on the ICANN Nominating Committee 2023. The first term has
accorded me the opportunity to learn and understand the NomCom selection
processes and engagement. I would like to continue in that spirit to
represent the GNSO - NCUC constituency in the NomCom selection process for
the ICANN leadership positions.


My flexible engagement gives me ample time to devote to the NomCom
selection activities. I believe that during my first term on the NomCom, I
have demonstrated and acted with integrity and open and sound judgment. In
addition, my experience in leadership positions makes it a soft landing to
relate with a large group of people from different cultures and
backgrounds.  For reaching out to potential candidates during the NomCom
selection process, I will leverage my network for intense advertisement and
wider reachability. And will continue to consult widely with the necessary
stakeholders for input into the NomCom selection process.


I submit that I am a person who can engage in a neutral and objective
without any fixed personal commitment whatsoever.


I clearly understand that this is a volunteering role, and I am willing to
participate as such. Having participated in ICANN activities and meetings
for several years, I can confidently say I understand the potential impact
of ICANN’s activities on the broader internet community as well as the
mission. With this understanding, I would be able to participate in
fulfilling the NomCom responsibilities for the second time.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve and I look forward to hearing from
the NCUC leadership.
