Hi Ben!

As Andrea mentioned there has to be an election by membership not vote by EC. So I don't think we should go ahead with our personal assessment of the application. However, I share Ken's concern re affiliation. If that is not a problem, no other comments from my side.

However I would like to know what the different members of EC think about his profile? He seemed to be very engaged in internet governance activities with non for profit views.

I do not know Shah personally, but I've seen he is quite active in the IG community. So far, I can only say it is good we have an expression of interest. Maybe it would also make sense if you ask Shah to draft a short statement of interest before we make an actual vote.

Hope you are doing well,  during ICANN 72 GNSO: NCSG Membership Meeting, I heard from Asia pacific required EC members in NCUC, will you please elaborate a little on the requirement and for which term?  I'll be happy if you consider my interest.
