Below follows the call for expressions of Interest to represent NCUC at the

Dear NCUC,

Our NCSG EC representatives,  Monica Zalnieriute and Robin Gross have
served on 2017/2018 NCSG Executive Committee. Now is time for NCUC EC once
again nominate the two NCUC representatives at the NCSG EC. And that can be
done by reappointing Monica and Robin for another year term or any other
candidates that the EC may seem fit. Therefore, this is a call for
application for NCUC members to apply for this position for the 2018-2019
Term,  starting after December 2018.

Call for Expressions of interest - NCSG EC

The NCSG Executive Committee, as indicated by the NCSG Charter, is
responsible for working with the NSCG Chair to make sure the NCSG Functions
according to its mission and Principles. The NCSG-EC is responsible for
supervising and monitoring the NCSG Chair's performance of executive
functions and also for establishing and overseeing membership criteria,
rules and procedures, as well as reviewing and approving applications to
form new constituencies(1).

Eligibility:
(a) The person might have considerate knowledge about NCSG, its mission and
values, as well as NCUC.

(b) The person should be willing to work in a large, consensus-oriented
committee;

(c) The person should be able to determine the status of members
applications, as well as help administer and maintain membership records;
and

(d) The person should be able to join teleconferences, as well as have
weekly availability to dedicate to NCSG-EC dedicated mailing list and also
membership approval process;

As you gather from the criteria above, it is very important that the
applicants for this position be active members of NCUC, involved with ICANN
and its various working groups and show proven interest in NCUC work and
understand the dynamics of ICANN and groups existing within ICANN.

In case you are interested in the position write a statement of interest
indicating how you fulfill the

criteria mentioned in ICANN bylaws and tell us about your experience at
NCUC and submit to me chair at ncuc.org and cc  maryam.bakoshi at icann.org by
2nd December 2018.

Announcement will be before 7 December 2018.
