Dear EC ,
I have just received this funding request from Roxanne John, a member from
the Caribbean Region, with regards to a youth forum she is organising prior
to the Saint Vincent and Grenadines First Internet Governance Forum.
Renata, how do we proceed with these funding requests ? it goes through an
EC vote ?
Best,
B.

Dear Bruna,
Saint Vincent and Grenadines though its internet society chapter will host
its first internet governance forum (IGF) on April 5-6, 2018. On the 6th we
will have a youth forum with the SVG Community College and I would very
much like to promote NCUC among this first event in our region.
There will be academics involved interested in internet policy and having
brought my organization to NCUC and being involved in LACNIC as well, I
think this would be a good opportunity to further educate our community
about ICANN and policies.
I am sending you this request for sponsorship of a small coffee-break
meeting (50 students) and printing of NCUC posters for event signage, if
possible.
I believe the amount of USD 300 would be a good start. We would welcome
remote speakers for the event ad well. Could you please help me find out if
this is possible with EC or GSE?
Thank you
Roxanne
