**Name of Event*: Africa Internet Summithttps://internetsummitafrica.org
<https://internetsummitafrica.org>*Date:* AIS starts from 29th April to
11th May with Afnog. But consideringthe maximum funding days, I plan to
attend the last week of policysessions. So that will be 8th-11th May.*How
you plan to outreach for NCUC at the event?*In last year's AIS, I was a
volunteer in ICANN regional outreach bycoordinating the information desk. I
mobilized the ICANNWiki trainees Ihad mentored during and after training to
help with the outreach desk. This time I plan to work with the regional
engagement teams on ICANNsessions, main focus this time will be on NCUC and
its role at ICANN.I have already a confirmation from GSE Policy from ICANN
that am I am included as in a panel participation in one of the ICANN
sessions.I'm also sending a session proposal on behalf of NCUC. Until 9
March this can be done. I'm building this presentation with NCUC members.
The proposal has already passed the NCUC Executive Committee with no
objections and had several collaborators, including from EC.

are also fellowship opportunities to AIS.As I have been a volunteer to the
event before, it could be I do not getthe fellowship so CROP would be
important for my attendance.*Why you think your application should be
considered?*I am effective at ICANN outreach activities and I have a good
understanding of how the NCUC works and its role in ICANN. I have also
helped facilitate NCUC outreach meetings in Nairobi, with the engagement
office. My objective for this meeting is to get more stakeholders from
differentbackgrounds to bring in their divergent views in NCUC and also
interactwith the Africa ICANN community, share views on our roles and
contributions in the ICANN ecosystem and find intersecting points with NCUC
works.I'm from Kenya and interested in advocacy and policy in digital
rights.I've also participated in global events such as IGF and others on
thetopic. I've also contributed to NCUC proposals to events such as the
WSIS 2018 one. At NCUC Africa list in preparing for content a regional
calls, I'm also always following developments and participating. My
ICANNWiki profile:https://icannwiki.org/Liz_Orembo
<https://icannwiki.org/Liz_Orembo>I am an observer of the (now less active)
CCWG Accessibility (created by At-Large) and the PDP I am following is the
GNSO RPM.I've also participated in comment drafting including a penholding
attempt of the Nomcom Review comment, finalized by PC NCSG.My
