Farzi,
Thanks for weighting in, but I don't see us treating the fellowship program
as an entity, only as a entrance facilitator (as it was for me).
At the same time, I share the vast majority of the criticism regarding the
program such as - (a) some of the fellows/nextgenners are far more
involved with their programs itself than with the community; (b) the lack
of engagement; (c) the tendency of becoming a community of its own and (d)
the need for more objective means of evaluating returning fellows,
nexgenners and onboarders in general.
But as Elsa pointed out, the statement is not quite precise, we have NCUC
members who are part of the fellowship program/selection committee/coach
community and we might also be the ones to charge regarding the lack of
communication with NCUC.
Having said that, I would like to propose things instead: maybe point out
the lack of communication, and how we would feel less reluctant regarding
the program If it consulted with the SO/ACs whether the selected
fellows/nextgenners were in fact members of the communities or either
cutting the number of participants...
