[NCUC-EC] NCUC Bylaws

Dear EC,

We can have a meeting with ICANN staff in Copenhagen to discuss their
comments on our bylaws. we can have a coordination and exchange of views on
what we think about their comments and what they meant by their comments
and tell them why we don't consider some and consider others. The meeting
will be transcribed and recorded so we don't have to report to the Board
how we coordinated with Staff we just send them the recording of the
meeting with transcription.

Again, Rob has reassured us that these are just suggestions and we can
discard them. But we need to show at least some coordination with ICANN
staff.

Who should attend the meeting: I think the meeting can be open to NCUC
members as observers but those who should attend are: the current EC
members, the former EC members (especially Rafik who led the Bylaws
drafting). Anyone else you think we should invite?


Before having the meeting with staff, we need to have a meeting of our own
to discuss their comments and prepare. That meeting has to happen soon.
Perhaps Friday 10th  or Sunday 12th.

We can have the meeting with staff on Thursday 16th. Since Milton also
wants to be in this meeting we can have it on Thursday, is that ok Milton?
 (I have to ask Maryam, this might not happen at all since this is a new
meeting request but we will see since it is private and closed they might
have a way)
