Dear Rafik,  Dear EC members,


I could attend the ICANN 56th Helsinki Meeting and would like to ask for a slot. Please note my intention.

(For your information, I also applied for the Fellowship Program, I am not sure if I could be selected. The results would be anncounced on 4th April, I would tell you once I got the results, but before that I would like to ask for one travel slot based on rotation.)


I am sorry for responding so belatedly. Thank Maryam for reminding me of my inability to receive emails due to excessive bounces to the EC list.

Now I know why I have not received previous emails for the past two weeks. That's why I sent a testing email to the EC list.

Please forgive me if I did not respond for the previous emails.

I have to solve this problem.

please let me know who planned to come or not. we should also follow some rotation.

After that, we will start more earlier the call for NCUC travel award for ICANN56 to give time for applicants to get visa.

Dear All,

In order to service your travel needs for ICANN 56 in Helsinki in a timely fashion, please submit your ICANN 56 Meeting database to me by 29 MARCH 2016.
A timely response would be appreciated in view of visa issues and the OFAC review.
 Please note that if you are a GNSO supported traveler with a designated hotel accommodation funding, a hotel room is automatically secured for you, please DO NOT book your own hotel as it is un-reimbursable.

Please note that when requesting travel support, in the interest of fairness and in light of budget restrictions we would like you to take the following into consideration:

1.         Respond timely to ICANN Travel regarding your upcoming travel to Dublin.
2.         If possible please book direct travel requests. Detours and multi-stop trips are unfortunately not guaranteed.
3.         Strictly limit your travel from your home to the ICANN meeting venue.
4.         Arrive based on your approved dates of arrival to ensure your participation on meetings.
5.         If you require a visa to enter the country, please make sure to acquire your visa immediately.
