[NCUC-EC] Call for applications: NCSG Executive Committee, Policy Committee and Finance Committee

Here is what I have drafted for call for applications for various NCSG
committees positions. Please do comment and make changes as appropriate. I
can send separate emails if you see that this email is too long and people
might not read til the end :)

I would like to send the call tomorrow. I set the deadline of 20th for
applications.

The executive committee has to appoint several NCUC members to various NCSG
committees. Please find the available positions below and  apply by 20th
December.

*NCSG Executive Committee*: NCUC can appoint two members to NCSG Executive
Committee. Currently, these positions are held by two NCUC members. Based
on the applications we receive for these positions, the EC will decide on
re-appointment of these members or appoint new members to these positions.
NCSG EC members are tasked with coming up with procedural rules for Policy
Committee, Finance Committee ( and others), supervise the election and
membership intake and coordination of the constituencies. The tasks are
laid out in NCSG Bylaws section 2.4. Please refer to this link for NCSG

Please apply and express why you want to represent NCUC on NCSG EC. In your
application, please tell us about:

1. Your experience and activities at NCUC and NCSG,

2. If you have any experience carrying out the tasks indicated in section
2.4 of NCSG bylaws. ( does not have to be within NCSG or NCUC, it can be
experienced in other spaces that are of similar nature.

3. Two things you want to do to improve our representation on NCSG EC. (
for example, reporting to NCUC members, coming up with initiatives related
to the work of NCSG etc.)


*NCSG Policy Committee: *NCUC can appoint two members to NCSG policy
committee. The Policy Committee has the very important task of developing
policy statements and organizing policy initiatives, policy research and
guidance and oversight of NCSG participation at GNSO Council related task
and document modes and procedure for decision making. For a full list of
responsibilities, please refer to NCSG bylaws, section 2.5.

Please apply and express why you want to represent NCUC on NCSG PC. In your
application tell us about

1. Your general activities at NCUC and NCSG ( what you have been active at,
where you helped, in which policy discussions did you get involved)

2. Your experience with policy making at NCUC and NCSG ( for example, if
participated in writing public comments or participated in working groups).

3. Two things you want to do to improve the work of policy committee.


*NCSG Finance Committee: * NCUC can appoint 1 rep to the NCSG finance
committee. NCSG finance committee responsibilities is stated in section 2.6
of NCSG bylaws.
