Dear Rafik, Bill and Rudi,

Please have a look at Chris Gift’s note below and let him know directly if you would like to make any of your community web sites searchable from the
icann.org site. It sounds like an easy thing to do, if you would find it helpful. CC’ing Maryam on this matter as you may want to have her manage any interaction with Chris.

Best,

Rob

Subject: Adding Constituency/stakeholder Websites to ICANN Search

Chris,

We use a flavor of Google Search that enables us to unify search across numerous domains, allowing us to search all of ICANN’s constellation of websites at once. Right now we limit our search ICANN staff managed websites, including the SO/AC sites.
At the recent meeting in Singapore, in a conversation with the ISPCP about engagement I offered to add their site to our search list, making it easier for
ICANN.org visitors to find them. I’m pleased to say that this is completed. Now when someone searches for “ISPCP” or “internet service providers” on
ICANN.org, the top result is the ISPCP website. A small, but significant step in driving traffic their way.

I would like to extend this opportunity to all of stakeholder/constituency websites. Can you approach them for me and see if there is any interest? If there is have them email me directly and I’ll take it from there.

Thanks.

Chris Gift
