Good morning Peter,
My last email on this was precise, kindly take that as withdrawal notice.
I am aware Bill now becomes the sole candidate and has my endorsement as far as this is concerned. I wish him good luck.
I will definitely express interest in future openings as we progress.
Nice day and many thanks for reverting.

Hi Remmy,
In order for us to move forward on the selection of a NCUC Delegate to 2016 NomCom, we expect to have your reply by the end of 20th, August. By sending your last email, are you serious about withdrawing your request to be considered for the selection?
We did take the recevied applications very seriously on the EC.
If you then do not reply, since we have only two candidates for the NCUC delegate to NomCom as of 15th, August, we will formally note your withdrawal and take it that the NomCom position will natually go to Bill.
Best RegardsPeter Green

Hi Remmy
Somehow your message yesterday didn’t make it to my mailer but it’s now been forwarded to me so allow me to reply. I don’t know what sort of entreaties from whom you are referring to, but if you are interested in being considered for an appointment and feel you’re well qualified for the position in question then you have every right to be considered for it. So please don’t withdraw unless that is really what you want to do.
Thanks
Bill
Dear friends and colleagues in NCUC
After due consideration of entreaties from respected members of our
dear constituency I wish to withdraw my nomination for the above
subject post.
I also urge friends to join me in endorsing Bill candidacy.
Thanks and God blessings

Delegate to the ICANN 2016 Nominating Committee
Hello folks,
Following Bill's forwarding of the following email from the Nominating
Committee on 4, August, it has been made clear that NCUC will have to
nominate someone to replace Brenden (a farewall to Brenden, thanks for
your hard work) to fill in the NomCom position representing NCUC.
Now, on behalf of the EC, I am sending this follow-up email to
announce that we continue to solicit nominations or self-nominations
of NCUC delegate to the 2016 NomCom.
According to James:
With regards to the NomCom the position will be filled as per the
bylaws, Peter Green I believe is compiling a shortlist for the EC to
consider.
Yes,we do have a shortlist now to discuss on the EC.
For your information, currently, we have received a self-nominaiton
from Remmy (Remmy has submitted a Statement of Interest and the EC has
noted) and nominations of Bill. ( Bill has confirmed of being
nominated with the EC, and he has asked for a recusal in the selection
process. )
So we have two candidates now. With this follow-up, we also continue
to accpet other self-nominations and nominations.
As per the deadline to submit the result--Friday, 21 August 2015, we
have 10 days to go.
Since it has been several days after the open call, we now propose the
following time framework:
a continued 5-day nomination period, a 5-day EC discussion period. So
the following timeline proposal for your consideration:
10, August---- 15, AugustSoliciting nominations of candidates
16, August---- 20, August,EC Discussion
21, AugustAnnoucning Selection Result in the NCUC-Dicuss mail-list,
and Submitting the result to ICANN.
Please note: according to folks' suggestions,
