Bill.
Looking forward to our meetings in London.
Saturday morning will be perfect and meeting at the Hilton lobby is a good idea.
Colleagues, I second Bill's proposal to approve the travel/financial requests.

Hi
We finally have the draft GNSO agenda for the weekend. The ATLAS agenda remains fluid in terms of where I might need to be, none of the sessions described etc, but at present I feel like it is safe to suggest that we meet Saturday morning. At this late date Glen's having trouble lining up a room so I would suggest we meet in an informal way, although obviously this means no remote participation. May I suggest we meet for breakfast together? We can do it in the hotel, or we can get out if there's stuff across the way. Decide at the time. Meet at the front desk. What time? I am not an early bird and Friday have flight + workshop + reception + dinner with Fadi and SOAC chairs, so my preference would be later, 9am. Stephi, Roy, Pranesh, Carlos...is that ok?
For an agenda, we can talk about the stuff we were supposed to cover on the failed EC call a couple weeks ago, plus other.
In the meanwhile: since we were ultimately able to get Anriette and Dee Dee fully covered by ICANN, we are not paying for anyone's trip. The only costs associated with London we have approved so far are my two nights of hotel (because I took the At Large travel, which is restrictive, to open up a slot for someone else). So I would like to suggest we be liberal on the following.
Stephanie Perrin has realized that to be at the meeting on Thursday she needs one extra night at the Metropole that ICANN's not paying for. I guess that'd be 200 GBP = 336.923 USD.
Marilia Maciel has changed her ticket in order to be with us for the Friday workshop and needs two nights at a lower cost hotel, 270.00 USD.
Their request letters are below. I propose that the EC approve this minor requests. Your prompt response either way will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Bill

Request for Funding for one night hotel at ICANN 50 in London

Dear NCSG Executive Committee:
I am writing to request funding to support one night of hotel
accommodation, the evening of the 26th of June, in London. The EWG is
covering me at the Hilton until the morning of the 26th, and If I am to
pay myself I will have to find much cheaper accommodations that morning,
most likely a tube ride from the venue. This will interfere with
potential meetings with the privacy experts we have invited to meet with
us the day before, as I am hoping some will stay to hear some of the
presentations that day.
I apologize for the last minute nature of this request. The EWG tends
to finalize its plans at the last minute, so I was not certain of what
the precise dates of our meetings were, and that I would need support.

Dear members of the Executive Committee of NCUC,
I hereby I would like to ask you for support to attend the meeting organized by NCUC on Friday, June 20, "Civil society in ICANN and Internet Governance". This support would consist of covering two nights of accommodation (18 to 20 June) in a low budget hotel, amounting to U$ 270.00. Unfortunately, due to KLM flight schedule limitations, I will need to arrive one day earlier than initially planned.
CTS/FGV is a long time member of NCUC and I am currently serving as NCUC representative in NCSG Policy Committee and in the CCWG on internet Governance. Besides that, I have been active in Internet Governance discussions since 2007 and acquired experience by taking part in several fora, such as the IGF, the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development, in which I represented Civil Society in the working group on IGF improvements, and throughout activities related to the WISIS process. I was also recently a member of the Executive Multistakeholder Committee of NETmundial.
I hope to the able to follow the meeting on Friday and to contribute to the discussion to the best of my ability. Thank you in advance for considering this request.
