[NCUC-EC] Joy declines Singapore Travel award

Hi

Ok, well alas Joy cannot come to Singapore after all.  She just told me she’s just taken a new job in the Office of Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand, can only be involved in ICANN on personal time, and has not been able to negotiate starting later or taking off the week of Feb 8-12.

Which means that if we do not offer Benjamin support, then the first installment of our new program is—zero travelers.  Which is ok if people feel it’s the right call on the merits, just somewhat unfortunate optics.   Hopefully the BA iteration will be more successful.
