I am all in favor of supporting Stephanie - but suggest to try to streamline the process for next time.
Bill, I have read your mail but I am on the road, and will reply on Monday - but thanks for writing it!

No other commitments from the piggy bank, just the 3 ICANN supported travel slots.

What other commitments has NCUC made? I think we could afford $2000.

Subject: travel funding for ICANN 51 in Los Angeles
Dear Bill,
Unfortunately, I have no funding to get me to Los Angeles for the ICANN51 meeting, although I am accepted as a leadership candidate for the training program being offered prior to the event. This being the case, my hotel and meals are covered from Oct 7-10 for that program. I could stay at the Marriott for 209 per night, which would be a total of 5 days (assuming I leave on the last day of the conference) for a total of 1045. A per diem would be nice if possible, and the flight selected below would be a total of 860 Canadian, or $785.53 in today's US dollars. This means I am essentially requesting travel support of approximately $1830, or roughly 2300 if you include meals.
Kind regards, and my apologies for asking so late in the process.
Stephanie Perrin
