Technically it should be no problem, we can just decide when we no
longer wait for corrections, and what we do with unconfirmed ones and
emails that appear to be temporarily broken.
As for our bylaws, they say the voter list should be published 30 days
before the election and that representaves may review the list, which
I presume is to allow sending corrections, but there's nothing
explicitly about how long time should be given for the review. I
assume that would fall in "procedural rules to help in the management
and operation of the Constituency" the EC is responsible for (IV F 2),
so we can decide on something reasonable, say, two weeks. Counting
from your message on 27 October that would be next Sunday, well before BA.
Then I'm not quite sure what to make of these:
VI A: "The Chairman shall be responsible for ballots"
IV F: "The Executive Committee shall [...]
3. Approve all ballots for online elections"
I guess the intent is that the Chair prepares the voter list
and the EC approves or disapproves - although I've no idea
what'd happen in the latter case.
Anyway, I can dump the address list again for you whenever you like
(as long as I've got net connection; I've planned to make
an automatically generated password-protected page for you to
download them from, but I don't know if I have time for it now).
