While you two seem just as academic non-filmmakers to me,
I must side with Milton here on the key point:
Any non-trivial changes at this point would be expensive.
More expensive than I'd be comfortable with.

Based on what I've now seen our finances, I'd be OK with that,
but opposed to spending anything more.
