[Ec-ncuc] New NCUC EC: getting on the web

Thank you for this extra-bonus :)

on many organizations, the previous elected step down the time the new ones
step in, so I assumed that as the new EC was stepping in, we should be
stepping out.

It turns out that there is a period where we can share ideas toghether and
I think we should just reap the opportunity to do that.

One of the challenges I failed to acomplish was to increase the membership
numbers for Europe (hopefully you will not say the same in a year's time).

I feel this is crucial to NCUC, for two major reasons:
1st - it is important to hear as many different voices as we can, only by
doing so we are truly representatives of what we claim to be.

2nd - more voices, and hopefully more educated voices will help on fighting
what many times are really strange positions from our colleagues in GNSO.
Truly there are statements that can only be understood by assuming that
there are hidden agendas that support them.

I tried locally in Portugal (in a testbed manner) to advertise the work for
NCUC, but unfortunatelly I was unsuccessfull. I believe that our
prospective members are not aware of the challenges and opportunities we
deal with week after week.

Having said this, and again, volunteering for what could be necessary, do
you have any good ideas?

Warm regards,

Nuno Garcia
