[NCUC-DISCUSS] [Call for application] NCUC-CROP funding to attend ICANN85 in Mumbai - India

*Dear NCUC Members from the Asia region *

We, as *NCUC*, are excited to announce that the *Community Regional
Outreach Program (CROP)* is offering travel funding for *one (1) NCUC
member* from the eligible* Asia region (as listed under the ICANN GSE
regional classifications) *to attend *ICANN85 in Mumbai-India, 7-12 March
2026.*

This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the ICANN community,
contribute to discussions, and strengthen NCUC’s presence at this important
event.
*About CROP & Eligibility*

The CROP program funds one NCUC member to attend an ICANN meeting *within

*Who can apply?*
Any NCUC member from the eligible *Asia* *region* (*as listed under the
ICANN GSE regional classifications*). Please check eligibility here:

*Expectations for the Selected Candidate*

The chosen candidate will be expected to:

- *Attend the full duration* of ICANN85, especially sessions related to *NCUC
and NCSG*.

*- Draft and share updates* with the NCUC membership regarding the sessions
attended.

*- Participate in a post-meeting membership call* to share key takeaways
and insights from the event.

*- The selected applicant must commit to attending the ICANN85 meeting on
all days supported by CROP*, be at the meeting venue everyday and *be
present to the greatest extend possible at all NCSG and NCUC meetings*, as
well as PDP sessions for which they have expressed interest in their
Motivation Statement. If the selected candidate does not appear to be
present at the venue without justification, s/he will not be eligible to be
allocated a travel slot in the future. The decision of such ineligibility
will be made by the NCUC Executive Committee.
