Sure, Farzi. A small article like this obviously misses some Nuance and so
on, both about deregulation and the complexity of a block such as BRICS.
But I guess my Main Point here was (a) the US has indeed abandoned a
position where it Not only advocated for freedoms but also for the
protection of fundamental/civil rights; and (b) the deregulation Situation
is mostly fighting the cost of Regulations without promoting an alternative
for protecting users online - and imho we Need regulations because simply
asking for companies to do it won’t cut it.
