[NCUC-DISCUSS] NomCom Update – First Selection Meeting Completed in Los Angeles

Dear all,

I wanted to provide you with a brief update from the ICANN Nominating
Committee (NomCom).

We have just completed our first selection meeting in Los Angeles, where we
assessed over 100 applicants for the open leadership positions. Over the
course of an intense three-day meeting, the group worked diligently and
made strong progress, keeping pace with our tight and compressed schedule.

The next phase will involve engaging with shortlisted candidates through
both online interviews and face-to-face meetings at ICANN83 in Prague.
Further updates will follow after we complete these important next steps.
