Sally and I did discuss the budget/cost cutting issues, but mostly
in the context of understanding the drivers (falling revenues) and
the way ICANN Outreach might have presented a somewhat too rosy/
optimistic picture of the domain business. We never really got to
the practical implications to travel and policy work, but it was
pointed out that ALAC and NCSG/NCUC/NPOC are the largest slices in
the sponsored travel budget.

Thus feel free to dive deeper into what the practical implications
are, but it helps (for everybody) to be familiar with the budget
and strategic plans that have been published recently.
