[NCUC-DISCUSS] NOMCOM leadership selection

Congratulations to those selected!

Its great that they have published some stats on the application, but I
wonder why we have majority of applicants from Africa yet no African was
selected. Could it be that the vacancies were to fill regional specific
positions? Then was this clear in the call for application?

If it is about the qualification of candidates from the region, then should
this call for increased capacity building efforts by ICANN?

Does the Nomcom provide any reports and recommendations on its work
regarding the diversity of leadership?
