Dear Stakeholder Group and Constituency Chairs,
As you may be aware, the Council Committee for Overseeing and Implementing
Continuous Improvement (CCOICI) recently completed its work on the
assignment for the Task Force to review the existing Statement of Interest
(SOI) requirements (see chapter 6 of the GNSO Operating Procedures
<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/gnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/file/field-file-attach/op-procedures-24oct19-en.pdf__;!!PtGJab4!oC0lN5QgOKUVKzSVe20lkpaDvVFdtwdZA-tHZAyZWjBryLiNuC9xnsakad8F4g5d7Iha_rvF8slI$>).
We are now reaching out to you to identify representatives from your
respective groups to participate in this Task Force.
Each Stakeholder Group or Constituency can appoint a maximum of 2
representatives and up to 2 alternates. For clarity, a Stakeholder Group
may decide to assign representatives at the Stakeholder Group level OR the
constituency level, if applicable, but not both. Members that are
appointed to a Task Force are expected to serve for the duration of the
effort and are expected to have relevant knowledge of and/or expertise with
the SOI requirements.
Although the Task Force will set its own work plan and schedule, it is
expected that the timeframe for completing this assignment may take between
9-12 months.
We would like to ask you to confirm your representatives by *14 January* at
the latest. For further information, please see the attached Task Force
assignment sheet.
Thanks,
GNSO Secretariat
