[NCUC-DISCUSS] Nomination of Franco Giandana for NCUC LAC EC seat

Dear all,

I would like to start by agreeing with Martin when he says that "*Antonella’s
shoes will be hard to fill*" - Antonella has always been such a nice and
kind friend and I am more than honored to say that we started our ICANN
journey together. That being said, it is also bittersweet to no longer have
her at the NCUC EC as LAC representative. Anto, I would like to thank you
for your work - thats still ongoing - and hope to continue engaging with
you in the most diverse arenas.

Additionally, I would also like to thank you for nominating Franco
Giandana. Despite being a considerably new member to this community, Franco
would be a great addition to the NCUC EC. Having him as the LAC region
representative would mean a lot to improving NCUC's engagement with the
region with him being the energetic and compromised person he is.
Additionally, being a professor/lecturer in local universities back in
Cordoba, I think he would also help us revive the buddy mentor program  and
NCUC NCUC's mentorship program.

I am more than happy to read that you accepted this nomination Franco, and
look forward to working with you.
