[NCUC-DISCUSS] submission of IGF Workshops

I meant to write this a few days ago but it slipped my mind. I was wondering, why is the NCUC thinking of submitting a workshop proposal independent of the NCSG?

Can't we just work together here and submit a common product? I am an NCUC member but I am also an NCSG member, and as our constituency forms a part of a larger Stakeholder Group, I drafted a workshop proposal and sent it to the stakeholder group because that was a bit more encompassing and allowed NPOC to be a part of the work too. The NCSG, NCUC, and NPOC all have the same positions on the issues that matter and a largely overlapping membership, so why are we working in silos here and not working together?

Our proposals are very similar as it is... :-)

If I'm missing something, please do let me know what, but I think we should be working together with our colleagues and allies in the NCSG and NPOC, especially when it comes to external events like the IGF.

Ayden
