[NCUC-DISCUSS] Meeting with CEO

Thanks, Farzaneh, for inviting our input. I have one suggested question:

- The ICANN Ombudsperson is not a member of ICANN Staff and reports directly to the Board; however, he/she seems to rely heavily on legal advice provided by ICANN Staff. Does the CEO believe this is appropriate, or does the CEO see how some in the community could see it leading to questions around his/her impartiality?

This question ties into one that I have for the Board:

- How is the Board monitoring the performance of the Office of the Ombudsperson to ensure that harassment complaints filed are being appropriately handled?
