[NCUC-DISCUSS] GDPR Cross-Community Session at ICANN

I think the angle can work if we have people on the panel who are familiar with the GDPR and its recitals. In terms of panelists, it makes more sense to me to have ICANN's recently appointed and much hyped Chief Privacy Officer speaking on behalf of the organisation than it does the SVP Multistakeholder Strategy. Then again, I notice the Chief Privacy Officer did not travel to Hong Kong last month to the data protection conference, so one wonders what his role entails and how much sway he has.
