Hi,

I think this will make a lot of countries, most especially African
countries to do the right thing by enacting a law on Data Protection. As at
today only 1 African Country have ratified African Union Convention on
Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection. I think with the GDPR going
into force by 2018, we all have six months to do the right thing. One
penalty under GDPR is too good to bring down any company in any developing
nation without a data protection law down.
