[NCUC-DISCUSS] Apply now for ICANN meeting

Hello Carlos

For LAC in Africa there isn't so much problem.

Unfortunately there isn't a safe enough border for anyone these days so
it's just about some being able to risk more than others.

It is always interesting to try for opportunities and if you are not
chosen, you can get in touch with your NCUC regional representative to ask
for feedback how can you participate more.

I have an advice for Spanish and French speakers to become involved:

the cross community working group on accountability - workstream 2
diversity subgroup - now welcomes you with simultaneous interpretation at
meetings. Yay!

If you are interested in joining the CCWG as an individual participant or
mailing list observer, please contact acct-staff at icann.org.

Active Participants engage in the day-to-day discussions of the particular
topic. Each active participant is expected to spend at least 3-5 hours per
week on sub-group work and will have posting rights to the mailing list.
Observers follow the topic discussion but not actively participate at the
sub-group level. Observers are not expected to spend time on sub-group work
and will not have posting rights to the mailing list.

Best,

Renata

It would be useful to identify which nationalities will face the same visa
problem.

Is there some way to have that info?

I would like to apply but suspect I'm not so active and still finding ways
to get more involved if some hat is available
