[NCUC-DISCUSS] I NOMINATE NAVEED BIN RAIS FOR THE AP SEAT FOR EC.

I nominate Naveed Bin Rais for the AP Seat for EC (Executive Committee).


Having known Naveed within the ICANN community for the past four (4) years
and his vibrancy, commitment and contributions to the course of internet
governance issues in the AP region, ICANN and at the global level, i am of
the view that Naveed will bring to bear the core values and issues of
internet governance across board.


Naveed has been a member of NCUC for last 2 years, and is currently
coordinator of NCUC Membership Affairs Working Team. He is currently
working as Associate Professor at Ajman University of Science and
Technology. Naveed has previously attended six ICANN meetings (including
five ICANN Fellowships) and have been an active Alumni of ICANN Fellowship
Program, also served as temporary fellowship coordinator for ICANN 55.
