I too would like to support Bill, and encourage him to push them to 
review  the Nomcom rules.  On this subject, it is worth noting that 
Nomcom veterans declare it to be such a process ( I would not know first 
hand, never having served on it) that it is very worthwhile to keep our 
rep there for two years, since it takes a whole year to find your feet 
under the table.  We have done this in the past.  Having said that, I do 
think folks who want to nominate/self nominate should do so regardless 
of the strong show of support for Bill.  We need to keep interesting 
people in the process, and in the many and various tasks required of us 
as NCSG.  This one is a really important one, as we have only one spot 
and this is the group that selects half the Board....
