The giraffe (named PlusOne) was specifically given to NCSG - NCUC got
its own wooden animal, an elephant if memory serves (I believe Rafik
got it, don't know if he's passed it on to Farzi).

If I was a betting man I'd give long odds against giraffes becoming
extinct before NCUC, NCSG or even ICANN. :-)

So I won't hesitate to claim giraffe as a symbol for NCSG, even though
I don't plan to have a logo designed. (I may put a photo of a giraffe,
real or wooden, on NCSG website or facebook page though.)

But if you'd like a relative of giraffe that's less endangered and
more feisty in its habits, how about zebra?

(I first thought of okapi, but it tends to hide in the woods, whereas
zebra, like NCUC, prefers visibility.)
