Dear Inès;
Any very simple word of encouragement is strengthening my hear which was broken really due to my past case.
Yes, I am in a very private place hiding and safe.
Dear Rafik;
If I do not contribute effectively as in the past, do not think that I am not active but, humbly comprehend and understand my current situation including a very limited Internet Connection.

@Coppens I was so happy to hear about your release and immediately kept Mama J, Jeannie and some other fellows updated on your status. I hope things get better back home and am glad that you made it to a safe place now. God watch over you.

| Dear selected;
Congratulations!
As I am concerned, I cannot make any initiative now as my country is in war and further to that I have been kidnapped by the Burundian Police when it was remaining just 20 min to go to the airport for ICANN 55 Marrakech Meeting.
I was released after 9 days from the Police station.
I have been arrested by the Police without any reason since I do not practice politics and I am not also Politician.
The object of this arrest was to immediately kill meand the Almighty God has saved my life.
I could not say anything before hiding.
I am now in a very safe place.
Briefly, this is my CROSS and STRUGGLE! |

| Hi everyone,
I am happy to share on behalf the NCUC executive committee the result of selection for CROPP (Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program) and allocating the 4 travel slots we have to attend relevant conferences and doing outreach activities.
I would like to thank all those who made effort and submitted proposals. Having such number of proposals made the selection more competitive and in many times hard. We reviewed all proposals, in particular the plan to conduct NCUC outreach activities and their effectiveness. I will be happy to give feedback to all applicants regarding their proposals.
So we are allocating the slots to:
1. APC to attend African Internet Summit 2. Ayden Ferdeline to attend WSIS forum3. Renata Ribeiro to attend CSISAC Forum & OECD Ministerial Conference4. Aarti Bhavana to attend Asia Pacific Regional IGF
We will also give some support to Tatiana Tropina to attend SEEDIG and Karel Douglas to attend CIVICUS conference.
the NCUC EC will work closely with those selected to refine their plans and coordinate with them and ICANN staff when needed. We are going to start the admin work with ICANN staff quickly since some events are quite close .
Thanks again.
Best Regards,
Rafik Dammak
