[NCUC-DISCUSS] Olympics in copyright trouble

Okay this is an interesting one, the definition of "multiple third-party"
is this context is a new one for me.
The section below is more interesting:
"...after it was uploaded the song was hit with an avalanche of criticism
from some YouTube users, who claimed it was a direct copy of Disney’s
song.....It is unclear from the YouTube notice who requested that the video
be taken down"
2 things comes to mind:
- Is it really copyright infringement when one doesn't copy lyrics nor
instrumental sound track
- How much whistle blowing would warrant an infringement especially when
the supposed owner is not laying complaint.
Should one be concerned that the internet is creating a situation where the
loud voice could have their way even if their view is not necessarily
acceptable by the silent ones.
