[NCUC-DISCUSS] UNESCO to host internet privacy workshop in St. Kitts

I posted this already but it disappeared!  This is for persons in LAC who
may be interested in these topics.


BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, – A two-day workshop on the *“Ethical Dimensions of
the Information Society and Internet Privacy”* begins here on September 23.

One of the key facilitators at the workshop is Sandra Cortesi, Director of
Youth and Media in the Berkman Centre for Internet and Society at Harvard
University.

The formulation of policies pertaining to the internet, inclusive of ethics
and privacy, is expected to be at least one of the outcomes of the
consultation and workshop.
