[NCUC-DISCUSS] ICANN at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2015 - ICANN

Remmy
I am not sure what you mean by “The India Workshop.” Do you mean the workshop on The IANA Transition: A new era in Internet governance?

If so, my use of the word “banned” was semi-humorous, semi-serious. It means that ICANN staff has put together a list of IGF workshops on ICANN-related issues, and it has (mysteriously) omitted this one from the list. I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it is moderated by a known critic of ICANN. Btw ICANN’s board chair was invited to be on this panel but refused.

Hi Dr. Milton
Is there anything to suggest that the India workshop of IGF was "banned"

Oh this is cute.
ICANN does not include in their list of relevant workshops the one on substantive issues of the IANA transition, which was organized by people involved in ICANN and has numerous people on it from the IANA Stewardship Coordination Group.

See this link for information about the "banned" workshop!
