Dear NCUCers,

On the last day of March 2015, as the Asian/Pacific Representative on the Executive Committee, I am pleased to announce that the Chinese version of NCUC brochure has been finalized and uploaded to the NCUC official website. You can find at http://www.ncuc.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/NCUC宣传手册-中文-2015年3月-finalized-version-201503284.pdf

(Please be noted that the address contains Chinese characters, if your brower does not recognize Chinese characters, please try: http://www.ncuc.org/brochure/, where you can find the Chinese version.)

I know that there are many of you who come from other parts of the world may SPEAK and READ Chinese, if so, please navigate it, any potential improvement would be appreciated.)

As the starter of the NCUC Materials Translation Project, I would like to express my gratitude to Limei Liu, Wen Zhai, Annie Zhang from Department of International Affairs and Policy Analysis of China Organizational Name Administration Center (CONAC), my home institution, who had done the translation and proofreading work all the way through that made this happen and led to completion of the version. Thanks very much for your time and contribution.

Last but not the least, I would like to thank Jia He, our new NCUC member from China as well as members of the Chinese Community Translation Advisory Group, Yue Liu, Feng Guo from China Academy of Information Communication Technology (CAICT), Jianchuan Zhang from KNET, for their consolidated re-proofreading work, which helped make the finalized Chinese vesion more accurate and perfect. Thanks very much.

Thank you so much for all of your support and collaborative work.

Now with the Chinese version as the first internationalized version, we are looking forward to seeing outputs of French, Spanish, etc versions, with which NCUC would be represented more globally.

Thanks very much.

All the Best
Peter Green/Zuan Zhang
