I believe that anyone wishing to attend has to have been part of the PPSAI working group as we are having a second open session later in the week, this one is primarily a working session for the WG members just so everyone is clear =)

Dear Bill,

As you plan your respective SO/AC/SG's travel for the ICANN 54 meeting in Dublin, we wanted to make you aware of the Proxy & Privacy Services Accreditation Issues PDP Working Group’s facilitated face-to-face meeting which is being scheduled as an all day meeting on Friday 16 October, just prior to the ICANN meeting. This meeting is part of the continuation of the GNSO Council’s pilot project to facilitate more effective consensus outcomes for GNSO PDP Working Groups through the FY16 Special Community Requests. Given that the PPSAI WG is preparing its Final Report for publication post-Dublin, both the GNSO Council and the WG chairs believe that the WG would greatly benefit from a full F2F meeting in Dublin.

As you may recall from previous such meetings, funding will be provided for one or two additional hotel nights for participants whose flights to Dublin are already being funded by other means. The extra nights of hotel funding are intended to allow the traveler to participate in the WG meeting planned for Friday 16 October. Each SO, AC and SG may send up to 6 participants (1 hotel night each), though if fewer than 6 are nominated by a particular SO, AC or SG, the nominees may each get 2 hotel nights funded. Please note that nominees from your group should ideally be those that are already active WG members; you can see the list of members and their attendance here: https://community.icann.org/x/xrbhAg.

We would greatly appreciate your providing us with the name(s) of your nominees and the number of hotel nights requested for each (up to a maximum of two nights per person) by Friday 14 August. Thank you very much for your kind attention to this matter.

Best regards,

Glen de Saint Géry
