[NCUC-DISCUSS] CyFy 2015 - India Conference on Internet Governance and Cybersecurity

Dear NCUC-ers,

The Observer Research Foundation, whose Cyber Initiative I'm part of, will
host its annual internet governance conference in New Delhi during October
15 and 16, 2015. http://cyfy.org  It cuts very close to Dublin, and for
those who've already booked their ICANN 54 tickets, attending the
conference might be a little difficult.

Nevertheless, I am very keen that NCUC-ers in the Asia Pacific have an
opportunity to attend the discussions. We've a fairly high-level set of
speakers this year, including NTIA officials, European ministers and ICANN
staff, and its a good platform to plug the gap between IG debates in
developed countries and the rest.

We have a limited amount of funding for travel support and accommodation
covering 3 days - ideally,to a handful of younger scholars/ students of IG
(below age of 35) from the Asia Pacific region who are new to the
multi-stakeholder/ICANN universe. Great if they are NCUC-ers because then I
can help coordinate a regional NCUC meeting of sorts on the sidelines.
