Dear Bill and Dear Rafik,

Along with Kathy Kleiman, I am also member of the 'IGO-INGO curative rights protection PDP working group', and also observer of the 'CWG-Stewardship' as applied through NCUC.

I also want to attend the upcoming meeting in person. I would like to apply for travel support and I fulfill the requirements documented under Travel Policy.

Hi Kathy
You’re of course a perfect fit for this and don’t have to do anything more, Rafik's the coordinator and has seen your request.
Cheers
Bill

 Hi Bill,
I am a member of this IGO Curative Rights Working Group, and I would like to apply for the funding that ICANN is making available so that members of the WG can stay for a full day F2F facilitated meeting.  I will need to stay for an additional two nights to accommodate the meeting. I don't think there is anyone else from NCUC on this WG (although we would certainly welcome additional participation!).

Could you kindly submit my name for the two nights of accommodations? Is there anything further I need  to do?
 Best,
 Kathy

thanks Bill for this reminder. Although the line on "we’ll have up to $2,000 we can make available to two people to defray the costs of attending" sounds like the two will have $2,000 to defray cost, just "each" missing. Good luck to applicants. Remmy

This should be a useful meeting, it’s an issue NC has struggled with on Council for several years now, so if anyone will be available and interested do let Rafik and I know.
And a reminder re: the Singapore meeting, in early December NCUC will fire up our new travel policy http://www.ncuc.org/governance/travel-policy/ so if there are members who are willing and able to engage, we’ll have up to $2,000 we can make available to two people to defray the costs of attending.

Dear Bill,   You may recall that the GNSO Council launched a pilot project this Financial Year (FY2015), aimed at facilitating the effectiveness and outcomes of Working Groups. You may also recall that the first WG selected for this pilot project was the Privacy & Proxy Services Accreditation Issues (PPSAI) WG at the Los Angeles meeting. Feedback from this WG indicates that the participants overwhelmingly thought that a full-day, facilitated face-to-face session was extremely helpful to them in making progress on their work, especially for the more difficult issues.   For the upcoming ICANN52 meeting in Singapore in February 2015, the GNSO Council has selected the IGO-INGO Curative Rights Protections Working Group to participate in a similar session. This is currently scheduled to take place on Friday 13 February, immediately following the ICANN meeting.   I am therefore writing to you to ask that each of your Stakeholder Groups select up to 6 participants – who should ideally be active members of the WG – to attend this full-day, professionally-facilitated session. As with the LA meeting, funding is available only for one hotel room night per participant (if an SG selects a full slate of 6) or two room nights per participant (if an SG selects fewer than 6 participants). Airfare, additional hotel nights and other expenses will not be covered – although of course an SG is, as always, free to allocate part of its other travel funding to one or more of its selected participants if it wishes to do so.   In order for us to plan for the likely number of attendees with the ICANN Meetings Team, we will be grateful if you could provide us with the names of your selected SG participants by Friday 28 November. For your reference, the list of WG members can be found here: https://community.icann.org/x/97rhAg. Should you also wish to see the attendance list in order to assist with your decision, please let us know.   Thank you very much for your continued support of this pilot project – we will be collecting feedback from all the participating WGs for purposes of briefing the GNSO Council when it evaluates the success and desirability of continuing with the project, and we welcome your feedback as well.   Best regards Mary Wong         Glen de Saint Géry  GNSO Secretariat gnso.secretariat at gnso.icann.org http://gnso.icann.org
