Yes, please, NCUC members! We need your comments on this draft outcome document and its only open for comment for a couple more days. If our views are not put into this document now, our values won't be represented in the outcome document. We need comments that support and strengthen human rights, especially free expression and privacy. (France has proposed that intellectual property rights should be listed among the "human rights" to be centralized in Internet governance principles). And we need comments supporting more specifics on bottom-up decision making and accountability mechanisms for internet governance institutions (like ICANN) such as external accountability mechanisms and checks and balances of power. Among other issues. Please look for yourself!

It only takes a few minutes to submit a comment and your participation would make a big difference in the text of this NETmundial outcome document, so please submit a comment Thank you!!

Best,
Robin

They were going to just add peoples’ addresses but I suggested making this opt in, as maybe some folks won’t want to be bothered. So if anyone wants to add multistakeholder comm lines in parallel with all their civil society channels etc, just let us know and I or someone else will add you to the Skype, and when the mail list is up I’ll send the subscription URL.

Also there are invite-based academic pre- and post-meetings organized by Brazilian NCUC members, and the NM itself on Wednesday-Thursday.

I’m not sure how exactly this all works but Adam Peake, who’s a CS on the Exec. MS Committee can probably answer any questions in his abundant spare time.

But looking at list of folks who responded to the Doodle, I can’t help noting that a number of members I believe will be attending (and are e.g. listed as being at the Best Bits civil society coordination meeting or the academic meeting before and after) have not done the Doodle. May I therefore ask again that anyone who will be in SP fill out http://doodle.com/3axp7s5vrgkq9x8r. I’d like to wrap this up, get it off my desk and send it to ICANN.

At a minimum we could establish a chat space for electronic blabbing.

I’d put up a page on the Confluence wiki (as At Large and probably some other groups have done), but people might not all have accounts. So instead, here’s a simple Doodle
