Subject: [NCUC-DISCUSS] welcome new members
Hello
The following folks cleared by the NCSG EC in Buenos Aires indicated that they wished to also join NCUC as their constituency, and so have been subscribed to the list:

Greetings to all, great to have you on board. Just a reminder, the ncsg-discuss list is for stakeholder group-wide discussions, mostly with respect to GNSO issues, while the ncuc-discuss list is for the constituency only and focuses on our internal views and positions on these and other ICANN/Internet governance, as well as our intra-organizational development.
There are a four other NCUC lists one can join, for the teams working on bylaws revision, electronic platforms, finance, and membership affairs http://lists.ncuc.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo. Most are fairly dormant at this point in the annual work cycle, but in the new year with the new EC in place and perhaps new coordinators for each the pace will pick up and some of these will become more active. As needed there will also be new lists to replace retired ones, e.g. NCUC will hold a policy conference in Singapore and we’ll need a new program team to work on that. More on all this in the new year—first we need in December to complete a) the election currently underway, b) the establishment of the new EC, and c) some quick appointments to fill important open slots. More on the latter next week.
Best
Bill
