Thank you everyone for your good wishes and confidence.

KK will be a very hard act to follow. He has done a lot of work that has benefited NCUC (and ICANN generally) a great deal, and of course we hope he will remain as actively involved with NCUC as his new role permits.

While of course there are many policy challenges and organisational work to be done in the next few months, the most important role I have as interim chair will be organising the election that will see the appointment of a new chair, as well as other positions and approval of the charter.

Looking forward to continuing to work with you all in this different role, and doing my best to keep the good ship NCUC moving steadily forward.

Cheers

David

David Cake, our Asia/Pacific Representative, expressed his willingness to step in as an interim chair of NCUC until its next elections which will be before the ICANN meeting in October (this complies with our charter requirements). The EC is fully supporting David in his new role.
