In fact, this is exactly the case:

Virgin_Group) are the applicants for the single beneficiary (i.e. internal
company TLD) .virgin (http://news.dot-nxt.com/gtld/virgin).

KSD's objection just shows how much denial of free speech is bound up in the
concept of objections to strings in the namespace.
