Subject: [NCSG-Discuss] Nomination of Robin Gross for NCSG Chair
Dear NCSG members:
I would like to nominate Robin Gross to the position of NCSG Chair. As a member of NCUC since 2007 I have been able to follow the work Robin has been conducting in the promotion of noncommercial interests in a number of internet governance fora and especially in the ICANN. She has played an important and active role as GNSO Councillor up to 2008 and then, as Chair of NCUC, she has improved the general awareness of key issues related to protection of non-commercial interests and lead an outreach effort that expanded the regional and thematic diversity of NCUC members.
I am sure her expertise of the substance and the procedural matters of ICANN will be of great help in the coordination of the activities of our stakeholder group and to foster the engagement of new members to the non-commercial community.
Sincerely,
Carlos Affonso
