Hi,

My problem with that is that the NCSG only has an afternoon schedule.  We start at 2 and go until 6.  So to take the afternoon slot means cutting down the NCSG by about 90 minutes (coming and going to the Board meeting room included).  And assuming the Board-GAC meeting is an open one, I am sure there are people from NCSG (myself included) who will be wanting to attend if at all possible.  That could cut NCSG down to a 1.5 hour meeting: 2 - 3:30.  On the other hand, there is a possibility that we could be done with the SG meeting between 2:00 - 4:45 - nearly 3 hours and we can go longer if necessary.

True most of issues will have been covered in the morning constituency meeting, but there are some issues that are common NCSG issues, and it would be good for the results of the 3 constituency meetings to be shared with the other NCSG group members.

One other point, the lunch hour is scheduled for 2 hours, so you should still have time for lunch.

Another thing, we need to start thinking of the 3 issues we want to discuss with the Board.  What I suggest is that people start suggesting.  Once we have a bunch I will create  a poll to determine which are the top 3.  I suggest we do not include the topic of charters as that can be dealt with seperately with the Structural Improvements Committee at other times.
