Statement on Rec6

Hi

I agree with endorsing, not only because of the close coordination between NCSG & ALAC on this and consequent parallel positions, but also because of the push back we got on the last Council call from some other SGs on the whole idea of cross-community groups.  Such groups can be entirely appropriate, especially in a case like this where GAC was looking for dialogue and already talking to ALAC anyway.  The notion that by instigating this NCSG was somehow undermining the GNSO's role was a bit annoying, and endorsing's a nice way to underline the point.
