Interesting challenge - .reality

Actually, it will end up costing much more than $185k because you
would face challenges from nearly every religion and every other
entity with a colorable trademark claim to the word "reality", so you
would probably spend $500,000 but not get the gTLD at the end because
deeper pockets and more established institutions want that TLD also
and will get it under the rules.

Why is this?   Because many within the GNSO really do not want
additional new gTLDS (what rationale business wants competition?)  So
the 3 trademark constituencies and the registries put in so many
barriers into the GNSO's new gTLD policy that very few will actually
receive a new gTLD.  And those who do can only be established
institutions with big bucks and political clout.

As I've been saying since this policy was passed 2 yrs ago -- it is a
missed opportunity to create new gTLDs in a way that benefits the
public interest.
