He was appointed in November 2004. According to the ICANN Bylaws, the Ombudsman 
is appointed for renewable 2-year terms, which means that he will be up for a 
4th renewal at the end of this year (2010).

Can someone tell me when Dr Fowlie was appointed as the Ombudsman. Is he in his 
first term or second term?
